Institution: Sancellemoz

Inaugurated in 1931, Sancellemoz is a compact building, seven floors high with a huge roof terrace-solarium. This was the first sanatorium in Plateau d'Assy with its framework, floors and terrace to be builf of reinforced concrete.

Sanatorium opened by Louis-Paul Dubuisson.
In the basement, the decoration of the chapel of St. Anselm was led by Canon John Devémy, chaplain of the sanatorium and founder of the Church of Notre Dame de Toute Grac. (Murals and stained glass windows by Valentine Reyre, co-founder of the Brotherhood of the Arc and collaborator of the Sacred Art Workshops.).
A few metres from Sancellemoz, the Passerane, built like the Mont Blanc sanatorium by Pierre Dupuy.

Guided tours by appointment for individuals and groups. A selection visits possible: hourly, 1/2 day or full day. At the Heritage Workshop, children can complete the tour with interactive games.
