From Le Pré, take the pedestrian route along the banks of the Dranse towards La Chapelle d'Abondance. At "les Carres", follow the path that goes up through the forest to the chalet "les Ouyes". Continue on the flat path which will lead you to the chalet "Le Chon" then go down in an open area crossing the alpage of "La Plagne". Continue your
continue your descent until you reach 1012 m where you turn left before finding your way back up.
Other possible departures: les Carres and les Ogays.

Several departure possibilities:
- from the centre of the village of Abondance starting from Le Pré. Park in the car park in the centre of the village and walk to Le Pré (road before the Bouvet Sport shop).
Take the RD22 towards La Chapelle d'Abondance:
- from the place called les Carres at the exit of the village of Abondance (1 min by car).
- In Richebourg from the place called "Chez les Ogays".
