Snowshoe route n°12: Chief town of St Alban – Les Moulins
Easy walk, accessible to all ages and physical conditions. In front of the church of St Alban des Villards, almost opposite the “Le Triandou” shop, take the path that descends to the right (sign) for 60 meters then follow the path that descends to the left (signposted). Continue on the fairly wide path which leads in a few switchbacks to the stone bridge which spans the Merlet torrent. Here you are near the mill which, thanks to its water intake in the Merlet, made it possible to operate not only the mill (for flour) but also the sawmill and a micro-electric power station.
Return: take the same route.
