From passes to summits, you will discover the monastery of the Grande Chartreuse and the highlands of the Nature Reserve, which once again welcomes ibex.

Stage 1: St Pierre d'Entremont> Le Désert d'Entremont. Drop + 650m / Drop - 150m / Duration 6h30.

Stage 2: The Entremont Desert> La Ruchère. Drop + 600m / Drop - 550m / Duration 6h.

Stage 3: La Ruchère> St Pierre de Chartreuse. Drop + 500m / Drop - 670m / Duration 7h.

Stage 4: St Pierre de Chartreuse> Le Sappey. Drop + 890m / Drop - 700m / Duration 6h30.

Stage 5: Le Sappey> La Scia. Drop + 1070m / Drop - 450m / Duration 7h.

Stage 6: La Scia> St Pierre d'Entremont. Drop + 650m / Drop - 1350m / Duration 6h30.

Difficult passages

Departure signs are placed in the villages at parking or public reception points. To follow your route, posts are set up at crossroads and identifiable by a plate indicating its name and altitude. Between two posts, markings in paint mark out the path to follow or not. You can also be guided by small staking signs. Recommended "Walks and hikes in the Chartreuse" card.
