> below the Pas de l'Ours cliff, a tricky passage leads down a secure staircase to the Tire valley. > for those doing the variant to the summit of Mont Ouzon: on the last few metres of the itinerary, just before reaching the summit, there is a passage secured by a chain to cross the rocks.

1/ Start from the Col du Corbier parking lot
2/ Take the tarmac road up to l'Arblay, then take the forest track.
3/ The path twists and turns down to the Pas de l'Ours site.

4/ Below the Pas de l'Ours cliff, a tricky passage leads down a secure staircase to the Tire valley.
5/ The path climbs back up to an open ridge, from where you can see the whole Vallée d'Aulps and Lake Geneva.
6/ Take the path through the forest, crossing a number of couloirs, and continue to the Col de Nicodex.
7/ At the Col de Nicodex, you can stop off at the chalets just below, with drinking water.
8/ From the Col de Nicodex, take the path on the right towards the Col de Plan Champ.
9/ Mont Ouzon summit option: at the Col de Plan Champ, take the path that starts just behind the chalet. On the last few metres of the itinerary, just before the summit, take the passage secured by a chain over the rocks.
10/ From the Col de Plan Champs, take the trail down to the Chalets d'Ouzon and then to the Col du Corbier.
Set off early in the morning or late in the day to admire the sunrise or sunset over Lake Geneva from the summit of Mont Ouzon. A breathtaking image that lovers of beautiful landscapes won't soon forget!
