This itinerary from the arrival station of the Rosay gondola will allow you to discover Mont Lachat de Châtillon by completing its tour by the foothills.

During your walk, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditional pastoral life of the Aravis. In the middle of beautiful alpine landscapes, your walk will be punctuated by the sound of clarines, witnesses of your entry into the place of production of the Reblochon farmer.

The Maroly mountain pasture is also the breeding ground of Neige, the most famous of the Abondance cows, the face of the Agricultural Show during the 2021 edition.

Mont Lachat de Châtillon and its rounded forms are at the heart of the Grand Bornand resort. From the height of its 2050 meters, its balconies offer various panoramas: the Bargy massif on one side, the Aravis Mountains and Mont Blanc on the other.
