Les Prioux: Sentier du Lièvre ("Jackrabbit Trail")

Follow the beginning of the trail (no. 59) that heads up and left from the path/farm road leading to Les Prioux.
After a short climb through a lush green gully, take the balcony trail on your left that winds through a sparse forest where mostly mountain pine and Swiss pine (also known as “Arolla” pine) grow.
This trail offers panoramic views of “murgers,” the local word for property on the lower slopes of the opposite side of the valley, as well as the massive seracs from the glacier capping the summit of Domes des Nants (3570m).
To return to Les Prioux take trail no. 58, which leads downhill to the “Passerelle des Anciens” footbridge. Before you reach the footbridge, take the trail on your left that crosses through the meadows along Doron de Chavière River.
You are now on the Les Prioux “No Kill” fly fishing trail and should be able to see brown trout, arctic char, and brook trout swimming in the river.
