Car park outside the resort's riding stables. From the Gîte des Tavernes, follow the Route du Lavoir as far as the Fort du Lavoir, then take the path left of the dam to the old barracks, now home to a cheese dairy.
For the return, backtrack to the Fort du Lavoir, cross the bridge on the left and take the track towards Valfréjus. When you reach the Pont des Herbiers bridge, follow the Route du Lavoir back to the Gîte des Tavernes.
