Starting point : car park on Les Frachets Plateau in Mont-Saxonnex, near the farm

From Les Frachets (car-park) to La Croix du Felay : 25 mins
On foot, follow the road starting in front of Les Frachets farm. The slope is gentle and the path wide. You will cross the alpine pastures until la Croix du Felay (a cross).

From La Croix du Felay to Cenise Pass : 10mins
From the cross, follow the path. The wide plateau opens in front of you and you will be able to see the Rochers de Leschaux on your right and le Bargy mountain range on your left.

From the Pass to the car-park :
Go back with the same route.

* Le Jalouvre (for very good hikers, very delicate passage on the Razor's Pass, route not signed) : 2h50mins (one way)

    The Cenise plateau benefits from the Sensitive Natural Spaces policy carried by the Departmental Council and applied locally by the Cluses Arve & mountains community of municipalities. This policy aims to implement actions to protect and enhance natural sites with great ecological wealth.
    The Cenise plateau is also part of the European network of Natura 2000 sites, which aims to better take into account natural issues in human activities. It falls within the perimeter of the Natura 2000 site of the Bargy massif.

    Preserve the sensitive natural space of the Cenise plateau:
    - Motor vehicles prohibited
    - Do not disturb the herds and wild animals, remain discreet, on the paths, away from animals and keep your dog on a leash
    - Do not pick flowers and other plants, some species are protected
    - Do not leave garbage on site

    Natural Zone of Interest for Ecology, Flora and Fauna and farms. Keep your dog on a leash, he can scare off herds and wild animals.

    From Cluses, take the D4, direction Le Reposoir, then take the D286, direction Mont-Saxonnex. Cross the village and turn left towards Route de Morsullaz (chairlift). Follow this road for 8 kilometers and pass the Auberge la Pointe du Midi. After the switchbacks, the road ends at the Frachets farm.
