Take the ski-lift bridge then turn left onto the GR5 hiking trail and continue to the old hamlet of "La Chalp". Cross the D902 road and walk along it for 50 metres towards Bessans. Take the mountain-bike track on the right, cross the bridge over the River Arc, and return via the Chemin du Petit Bonheur, which is the path on your left. Cross the Ribon stream, then the D902 road before reaching the village.

A very easy, picturesque itinerary with some woodland and a chance to make a detour via the lakes of Bessans where the Ludilacs outdoor activities centre can be found in summer: lifeguarded bathing, refreshments, paddleboard and canoe rentals, picnic tables, barbecue and volleyball pitch.
