Conservatory vineyard of Alpine grape varieties

Established at the foot of the "Croix des têtes", the vineyard is an conclusive experience of reintroduction of the vine in Maurienne. The grapes varieties come from all the Europe and some are rare. On the parcel, work of Land'art have found their place.

It's in 2008 that Solid'Art, in partnership with the municipality of Hermillon, have reintroduce vine in Maurienne, with the management of Jean-Pierre et Philippe Grisard, winegrowers from la Combe de Savoie, passionate by the restoration and the conservation of old grape variety.
The municipality of Saint-Julien-Montdenis has join the partnership the same year and the clearing has began to let place to the firsts plantations in 2010. About 1/2 hectare of vine has already been planted. The objective is to continue the clearing in Saint-Julien and then to attack the historic red grapes in Maurienne, "le coteau de Princens", under the "Bonne Nouvelle" chapel, in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. About 2 hectares of vine will be cultivate on the canton of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.

    Opening hours on Monday and Friday between 12.30 pm and 5 pm. On Tuesday and Thursday between 5.30 pm and 6 pm.
