At an altitude of 2,200m and facing Mont Blanc, the famous Petit St. Bernard Pass links France and Italy. It also happens to be at the crossroads of three sunny valleys with incredibly reliable breezes and guaranteed snowfall, which makes it an ideal snowkiting spot. The first ever snowkiting school to open in Savoie offers snowkiting courses for beginners to advanced kiters on the Espace San Bernardo ski area. Once you have mastered snowkiting, why not try your hand at kitesurfing? You only need a small breeze to get started, and after a few hours on the snow this winter you will be more than ready to glide over the waves on a kitesurf next summer!

Snowkiting is your personal, free and ecological ski lift: a brand new way of enjoying the mountains! While Snowkiting, you’re not flying, but simply sliding on your skis or snowboard, pulled by a powerkite.
