From Albertville, take the RN 90 to Bourg-St-Maurice, then upstream to 12 kms, direction Tignes, Val d'Isère, on the RD 902. From the town of Ste-Foy-Tarentaise offers 2 itineraries : In "la Thuile", take the road on the left, to go up to the station of Bonconseil. At the exit, follow a forest road about 3 km, which leads to the compulsory parking of "l'Echaillon" (1799 m / alt), count, 40 mn easy walk, to cover the 75 m difference in level to arrive At the Refuge. After "La Thuile", at the place "Les Pigettes", leave the RD902, take on the left a small road in steep laces, which leads to the hamlet of the Channel (1743 m / alt).
