From the refuge it exists many itineraries : paths to Plan d'Aval and Plan d'Amont lakes, to the Col du Barbier, to the Rateau d'Aussois, to the Echelle, to the Col de la Masse, to other refuges upstream. During your walk in the mountains, if you are lucky, you may see typical species such as Alpine ibexes, chamois, bearded vultures, eagles, marmots, etc.
