A hike with many points of interest awaits you : snow-covered spruce forests, meadows offering views of Saint Jean de Sixt, then La Clusaz, 360° views from the summit, a partially frozen torrent, and even a refuge ‘La ferme du Danay’, just a stone's throw from the summit.

    The complete tour with the tête du Danay : at the Granges reservoir, take the route du Danay as far as the refuge. Turn left behind the refuge and begin the ascent to the tête du Danay. At the summit, turn back and return to the refuge. Take the forest path that passes to the left of the refuge.
    Caution : Be careful on the section alongside the cross-country ski track (keep to the right).

    Possible shortcut via route 14 bis : after 1.5 km from the start of the Réservoir des Granges, take the signposted path on the right. On the way back, take the signposted path on the left at the cross-country ski piste to join the Route du Danay, then descend to the Les Granges car park.
