Weekly program

Tuesday: mountain safety
Safety day to learn about the dangers of the mountains. Learn basic avalanche rescue techniques using the trio of avalanche beacon, shovel and probe. Discover crevasse rescue: knots, roped walking and rope maneuvers.

Wednesday: snowshoeing at altitude
In winter, animals must adapt their pace to survive. Discover the adaptation strategies of mountain fauna and learn how to recognize tracks in the snow. A unique day off the beaten track, close to nature.

Thursday: ice climbing
Introduction to ice climbing at the Bérard site in Vallorcine. With crampons and ice axe in hand, it's the perfect opportunity to tackle an ice wall. The day is also an opportunity to learn climbing belay techniques.

Friday: ski touring
Discover ski touring on a fun trail. Use of specific equipment. Learn basic techniques: ski touring steps and conversions. To reward our efforts, a magnificent descent awaits us! Black run level required.

Program subject to change at the discretion of the professionals.

The group formula includes children in groups of 4 to 6 teenagers (except ice climbing max 4).

Meeting point: 8:30 a.m. at the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix, 190 place de l'église.

Departure: A minimum of 4 children is required for departure.


Location: In the Chamonix valley

Level: Cham Ado is for children aged 14 to 18 who can follow instructions, live independently in a group and take part in normal sporting activities. For the activities, your teenager must have the technical level for black runs.

Formalities: Make sure you have individual civil liability insurance valid for this activity with no restrictions on location or altitude, including assistance, search, rescue and repatriation.

To the attention of the legal guardian of the registered minor: The legal guardian is aware of the sporting and high-risk nature of the activities offered as part of this service. Failure to comply with safety instructions and level requirements may lead to accidents.

    - Technical equipment for ice climbing: crampons, harness, helmet, ice axes.

    This price does not include
    - lunch, which you must provide yourself
    - any ski lifts
    - technical equipment for off-piste skiing
    - mountaineering boots for ice climbing
    - technical equipment for ski touring.
