This mountain lake offers a splendid panorama on the Mont-Blanc massif, but also on the Fiz chain.Once at the lake, you will have two alternatives. Go back up to the cable car or go back down to the Bellachat refuge and then to the village of Les Houches.

Lac du Brévent
Lac du Brevent is not far from the arrival point of Le Brevent cable car. It is a glacial lake that lies 2,125 metres above sea level.

Beware, high altitude lakes are fragile! Please respect the area: do not swim or wash your dishes, do not trample the wetlands, do not put water sports equipment (buoys, paddles, etc.) in the water or throw anything into the lake (stones, waste).
