In summer, Planpraz is the starting point for many wonderful escapades, including Lac Cornu and the Grand Balcon Sud. It also offers a superb launch area for paragliders.
From the Brévent summit, a path leads in summer to the Aiguillette des Houches via the Bel-Lachat refuge.
The Brévent slabs, facing Mont Blanc, form a pleasant, quiet climbing site just a 5-minute walk from the top of the cable car, .

Eating and drinking: in Planpraz, "La Bergerie" offers traditional cuisine and fast food, while in Le Brévent, "Le Panoramique" offers meals and a unique panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc chain.

From Chamonix: first a gondola to Planpraz at 2000m, then a cable car to Le Brévent at 2525m. Here you'll enjoy 360° panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc chain.

Reception
During the summer, dogs are allowed on the cable car Planpraz and Brévent. Dunring the winter, dogs are only allowed on the Planpraz cable car.

Special rate on presentation of the "disabled" card only on return tickets to the summit. The reserved parking spaces are close to the ticket offices but on the slope, so an accompanying person is required. An adapted ticket office is located at the far left of the reception area. Access to the cabin is to the right of the boarding gate. An adapted toilet is available at the departure point; ask the attendant for the key. Gondola seats can be folded down to allow wheelchairs to board. Vertical loading of the Cimgo in the Planpraz gondola. At Planpraz, a large ramp some 40m long and around 1.5m wide allows you to enjoy the panoramic views and access the lift to the Brévent cable car. Alternatively, take the inside ramp. Between the 2 stations, there is a 4-5 m stretch of hard, gravelled ground. At the top there is a large platform where you can enjoy the view. You can go to the restaurant at the intermediate station. For groups of wheelchair users, the gondola can take one wheelchair at a time plus one or more accompanying persons. The cable car can take a few wheelchairs, but the rotations are more spaced out. There will therefore be a waiting time. For this reason, we recommend that you take this tour in the morning so that you can get the most out of the site and plan to eat on site.
