The competition is part of the Alpi Ski Tour by the French Alpine Club and the finals for the FFME's French National Ski-Mountaineering standings.
This race offers a truly unique setting: the Vanoise Glaciers, a wild and protected environment in the heart Vanoise National Park.

TransVanoise - 13th edition
A truly unique ski-mountaineering race: the Vanoise Range and its legendary glaciers host this race on Western Europe's largest ice cap. 2 races by teams of three: the TransVanoise (3820m vertical gain), the Trophée des Dômes (2390 m vertical gain).
From Pralognan to the Vanoise glaciers and back, this is the only authorized winter race in Vanoise National Park. It includes a section where team members rope up.
