During the 17th stage between Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc and Courchevel, which could prove decisive for the attribution of the yellow jersey, the riders will attack the summit of the Tour de France with the 2,304-metre Col de la Loze, passing through the heart of the village of Brides-les-Bains. This is an opportunity to meet up in the village centre and enjoy some entertainment while waiting for the caravan and the riders.
This stage makes Brides-les-Bains the nerve centre of the Tour de France in the Tarentaise and the 3 Valleys. The next day, the start of the 18th stage will be from Moutiers, the neighbouring town, in the direction of Bourg-en-Bresse.
