On Sunday, January 127, 2024, more than 500 racers will compete on trails as technical and difficult as those proposed for the Pierra Menta, with lots of handling (a series of climbs and descents), and steep gradients to be climbed as quickly as possible!
This stage of the Pierre will feature two courses:
- Course A with 1,800 meters of vertical drop for riders aged 21 to 99
- Course B, 800 metres of ascent for runners aged 15 to 99.
Departure from Plateau du Cuvy (take the Bois gondola up) and arrival at Le Planay, depending on snow conditions.

The concept is simple: 1 day - 1 stage - 2 routes. In a festive atmosphere, ski mountaineering enthusiasts will be pitted against the elite of ski mountaineering. Indeed, some of the biggest names in the sport will be on the starting line.
