In the middle of alpine pastures, with a breathtaking view of the peaks Aliet and Bellecôte, Notre-Dame-des-Vernettes chapel, listed as a Historic Monument since 1983, seems to rise from nowhere. This "little corner of paradise" is also a place dear to the inhabitants of the valley. An historical and artistic journey will allow you to discover the history of a unique sanctuary, a reputed miraculous source, as well as all the splendour of the 18th century Alpine Baroque art. You can also admire the painting of the vaults and the dome, as well as the three carved wood altarpieces.
