Far from the downhill ski slopes, in a quiet, unspoilt setting, you'll benefit from the safety of waymarked ski-touring trails. This outdoor sport offers a real sense of freedom and spectacular surroundings. Passionate ski-tourers, seasoned athletes and meditation fans, these itineraries are for you!
Some sections are shared with snowshoers and walkers.
The descent follows the groomed slopes, offering non-experts a safe way to try this discipline.
Ask for the map and any other information at the cash desks.

When to go ski-touring?
The trails are accessible during the ski area opening period and, like the slopes, from 9am to 4.30pm.
For safety reasons, it is forbidden by municipal decree to use the ski-touring trails at night when the ski area is closed.
The winch cables of the snow groomers working on the trails at night are difficult to see and can cause fatal accidents.
Outside opening hours, it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to enter the ski area.

A few safety rules:
In the event of an accident, call 112.
Waymarkers are yellow on ski-touring trails and purple for snowshoeing.
To guide you, call upon the services of an instructor from one of the ski schools present within the ski area. Equipment can be rented from the sports shops.
Some recommendations:
- Make sure you have suitable equipment.
- When choosing your route, take into account your physical ability, the weather conditions, and the time available.
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.
- Never go alone and make sure somebody knows your intended route.
- Be mindful of nature and the tranquillity of the site.
- Check the avalanche risk before you leave.
The presence of a mountain guide is strongly recommended. Remember to keep a close eye on the snow and weather conditions. Take an avalanche transceiver, a shovel and a probe with you. Every detail matters in the mountains. You must always have the right equipment in your rucksack, and there is always some degree of risk.
When following a ski slope, it is strongly recommended to stay on the right, as close as possible to the waymarkers.

Where to rent touring skis?
In any of the resort's sports shops!
Don't hesitate to ask the staff for advice, they are there to help you.

Novice?
Enquire at the ski schools present across the ski area. Their enthusiastic experts will be delighted to introduce you to this discipline.
