Bernard Just was born in 1949. His father was from Paris and his mother from the Haute Savoie. In 1956, his father became a hotelier in Megève, where his son went to school. Bernard discovered a passion for photography as a teenager and this never left him. During the 1990s, he worked on farms in Haut-val-d'Arly. He did this over nearly three decades and this gave rise to the trilogy 'Le Chemin des Fermes' (published by Cabédita and CDP), as well as other publications, such as 'Romain du Mont d'la Motte'. The completion of this project led him to journey along the back roads and become interested in landscape photography. This resulted in the series on routes in Megève. From the peaks of the Mont Joly chain to the mid-altitude mountain pastures and the stony mountain paths, the four seasons are glorified by the photographer's eye.
