At only 26 years old, Alexandra Ridout is already one of the most talented trumpet players on the international scene. Of British origin, and awarded in the BBC young talent competition, she currently lives between New York and London, the mecca of jazz. Here she joins Fabrice Tarel, within his new Quartet on a repertoire of compositions by the latter, whose lyricism and writing qualities are well known. Cyril Billot, a young double bassist very active on the French scene, and Andy Barron, an experienced drummer combining finesse and energy, complete this exceptional line-up.
