À participant testimony:"I took part in a special session in the Tueda Reserve that combines hiking and yoga. Instructor Magali from Sejour Coaching Nature was waiting for me at the parking lot with a big smile. She applies her knowledge of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine to let people experience the Tueda Reserve instead of just showing it. It started for Magali with parent-child yoga sessions, but during the corona crisis she noticed that a wider audience was interested in yoga and now it is possible for everyone to participate in this special experience.
With great enthusiasm, Magali took me on a discovery of the five elements earth, water, fire, air and space that are clearly present in the Tueda reserve. Each element has its own breathing technique, walking rhythm and yoga poses. The water element, for example, has a nice flow, while very energetic movements are appropriate for the fire element. During the session, Magali involves the landscape in the exercises. For example, we took poses that were reminiscent of a tree and we did the exercises for the element of water near the river.
Through the combination of walking and yoga I experienced nature extra intensely because I was very aware of the landscape around me and the sensation of the elements. Very special was that the elements flared up while we were at it. The sun broke through during our fire exercises and the wind picked up during the air element."
