Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (74400)

Hélias Millerioux, Frédéric Degoulet and Benjamin Guigonnet dream of opening a new extreme route on the legendary south face of Nuptse. A wall approaching 8000m in the heart of the Himalayas. "Nuptse l'inaccessible absolu" or the obsessive quest of three French mountaineers trapped in their desire for the summit."

In the presence of :

Hélias Millerioux.
Hélias is a French mountaineer who became a mountain guide at the age of 25, after graduating from the Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme (ENSA). He has made major ascents, such as the South Face of Aconcagua in Argentina and Denali in Alaska, opening up new routes. In 2014, with the "gang des Moustaches", he opened the "Looking for the Void" route on Siula Chico in Peru. In 2016, he conquered Nanga Parbat in two attempts, receiving the Piolet d'or for the ascent of Nuptse in 2018. Since then, he has pursued and multiplied his expeditions and ascents around the world and around Chamonix, where he has established his base camp.

Frédéric Degoulet.
Frédéric is a mountaineer specializing in ice climbing and mixed climbing on major routes, with numerous major ascents around the world to his credit. He has taken his experience and technique acquired in dry tooling competitions to the highest mountains, enabling him to succeed in new routes that were then thought impossible. In 2018, with the "gang des Moustaches", he received a Piolet d'or for his ascent of the South Face of Nuptse. He is also a professor in ENSA's mountaineering department.
