For young and old, come and have your make-up done to celebrate the arrival of the new year in colour.

Don't miss the unmissable torchlit descent orchestrated by our ESF and Ski Cool instructors, which will amaze young and old alike. Warm up with our free hot drinks and Pitch.

- 6.30pm: Winter concert: All That Jazz
This trio performs standards by the great jazz pianists, from Duke Ellington and Dave Brubeck to Thelonius Monk and Herbie Hancock.

THURSDAY 4 JANUARY

- 11 am: Children's workshop : My Christmas impressions
The Tourist Office is offering a range of fun, hands-on activities for little hands to discover, decorate and recycle while having fun.
Venue: Maison de Val Thorens
Free registration at the Tourist Office before 5pm on Tuesday.
Minimum 4 children and maximum 8.
From 3 to 6 years old. A parent must be present.

- 5pm-6pm: Draisienne
Your little skiers aged 3 to 5 can now discover the joys of winter sports in a unique way with our draisienne ski programme in Val Thorens. Supervised by our expert instructors, your children will learn balance, coordination and confidence on the snow, while having fun in a safe environment.

- 6pm: children's show : Raconte Moi Noël
A few days before Christmas, two sisters question the origins of the pagan customs and traditions of the festive season. They answer each other's questions as they ricochet from one tale to another to music, telling us from one end of the planet to the other about the origins of the yule log, tinsel, Santa's reindeer and presents, in a magical setting.
