A dull, introverted professor, Marcelo has been teaching philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires for years. One day, an opportunity to shine finally presents itself: following the death of his mentor, he is approached to take over his chair. But then another attractive, charismatic candidate arrives from Europe, determined to take over the post too.
