This competition, unique in the world, includes about fifteen forest tractors driven by experienced drivers, evolving in a technical and timed course, the objective being to count the least penalty in a minimum of time over two rounds. Organized every two years in Les Gets, in Haute-Savoie, the competition brings together a large number of professionals and passionate forest professionals from all over France and neighboring countries (around 30,000 spectators in 2015 and 2017).

This weekend also allows the public to discover or rediscover all the equipment used for the exploitation of our forests, thanks to a forest fair made up of about fifty exhibitors, including the main skidders world manufacturers. Several demonstrations complete the program. The Mechanized Skidding Contest of France is now an unavoidable event in the forestry sector, where atmosphere and friendliness are the key words!
