In this first play, Sylvie Santi focuses on the notion of the divine rascal. A mythical hero in many cultures, he is the prankster, the intuitive, teasing child in us who suggests a different way of understanding the world. He is the grain of sand in the mechanics, the one who creates the unpredictable and the irreverent, and who allows us a different view of our preconceptions.

Through their irreverent characters, mythical beings often show a daring word which allows the forbidden. Do they hold a mirror of the spirit up to our repressed way of functioning? Are they the projection of our shadows and consciousness? Do they allow our imagination to envisage other rules? How are they understood and invested? What unexpected perspectives do they open to us through their innocent madness? What unseen landscapes do they reveal to us?

Sylvie Santi finds in this creature of the divine rascal her "Child", the one that is often buried in each of us, the one who comes to reveal our paradoxes and confuse our lucidity. She responds to our questions with stories borrowed from this character combined with her own unique poetic phrasing.

She has always been fascinated by the world of childhood, which evokes for her a world of sensitive intelligence, and she has written a first score for this companion of the invisible, with whom she tells a story in a poetic and playful language, where everyone can find their own way.

Alone on stage, she is accompanied by sounds and immersive interactive images that bring new spaces into play and blur reality, questioning these in-between spaces, their unpredictable nature and their sensory impact.
