Through conferences, a round-table discussion, workshops, children's activities, stands and a show, you'll discover the rich natural heritage of this protected area, and the actions taken over the past 50 years to preserve it, in several rooms at the same time, according to your time and inclination. Exhibitions will also punctuate your visit.
And it's not just one anniversary we'll be celebrating, but two, as one room will also be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of PHENOCLIM, the first participatory science program run by CREA Mont-Blanc, a well-known scientific NGO in the valley specializing in biodiversity.
Last but not least, you're likely to come across a cartoonist, who will be retracing the day's highlights in real time, and presenting them at the closing ceremony.
