La Grande Odyssée VVF is, since its first edition in January 2005, the annual sled dog event in Europe. It is the most demanding stage race in a unique alpine setting in the world.
Each year, it brings together more than 25 mushers and their 400 top-level athlete dogs from all over Europe, in the superb landscapes of Savoie Mont Blanc.

La Grande Odyssée VVF
Since 2020, Valmorel has hosted the Grande Odyssée for a stage linking Valmorel to Doucy, with mid-distance stages of between 30 and 45km per day.
