If you are passionate about art, sculpture and symbolism, we have created this tour just for you. Samoëns, reknowned for its sculptors, has a cemetery where you can discover the history of art and the evolution of cultural and political ideas in a village that was ahead of its time.

According to the site of the town hall, the present place was only built 150 years ago replacing an old ancestral cemetery. Visitors can observe neo-classical architectural forms.

This guided tour, organized by Savoie-Mont-Blanc heritage guides, is an opportunity to discover a homeland of renowned sculptors. An open-air book, where you can discover the history of art and the evolution of religious, cultural and political ideas in a village with advanced ideas.
