Walking up the 145 steps leading to the panoramic gallery means going for a discovery of the castle's History and that of its owners, learning about its role: at first as a place of power, then as a residence, an industrial building (manufacture then silk factory), a social building (military hospital, Swiss Red Cross camp) and finally a tourist site.
