Guided tour: Secrets and flavors of honey at Mellifera

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of bees and discover the art of beekeeping with a unique guided tour of the heart of Mellifera. The site is located in an old restored mountain hut in the hamlet of Les Bruyères, near the resort of Les Menuires (1750 m altitude); it's a site dedicated to the Savoy black bee and to nature, close to the plan de l'Eau des Bruyères, a protected natural site. Depending on the time of year, the guided tour of the site is offered in two parts: first by a passionate beekeeper, then by a guide from the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire, who explains the history of the valley and the links between beekeeping, agriculture and the mountain environment. The tour concludes with a tasting of local honey and the chance to buy a souvenir.
