Let yourself be guided for a morning to discover the history of Courchevel Village: a montagnette perched at an altitude of 1,500 m in Savoie's Tarentaise valley, which developed into a winter sports resort from 1946 onwards, with the creation of the Courchevel ski resort and the large Three Valleys ski area. A montagnette was once a place temporarily inhabited by valley families, the rhythm of mountain farming life.
A walking tour with steep inclines and steps, from the tourist office (rue des Rois), then a stroll through the traditional neighborhoods of Les Rois, Lételé, Grangettes and Provères, to the Aquamotion (not open to visitors during the tour, but freely accessible during the day and winter season).
Tour led by a guide from the Pays d'art et d'histoire des hautes vallées de Savoie with the FACIM Foundation.
