The exhibition looks back at the first conquests of Mont Blanc at the end of the 18th century, the first mountaineers, including some of the great names to have passed through Saint-Gervais, and today's ascent of the summit of Europe by the Compagnie des Guides Saint-Gervais/Les Contamines. Through prints, antique and contemporary objects, archive documents and contemporary works, this exhibition invites visitors to discover how Mont Blanc was climbed alongside passionate guides.
For families, games and booklets are available at reception to help you discover the exhibition in a fun and entertaining way.
