The festivities will begin on Saturday, July 15, with the reception of the participants of the Gran Fondo Col de la Loze cyclosportive to the sound of the marching band. This will also be the first warm-up for the cyclists with the timed climb to the Pralognan domain.
The next day, the 4th edition of the Gran Fondo Col de la Loze will give all cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to measure themselves against the giant of the Alps.
Starting in Brides-les-Bains, several routes are organized according to the desires and abilities of each person in order to give the greatest number of people the opportunity to challenge the mythical Col de la Loze, the roof of the Tour de France, and its
2 304 meters high.
- The Ultimate format, recommended for the most trained with its 117 km course and 4377 meters of positive altitude difference. It gives the opportunity to climb the Col de la Loze by linking the Méribel side and Courchevel.
- The 53 km and 46 km courses are perfect for sportsmen who would like a shorter format but just as challenging with a positive difference in altitude of 3,147 meters for the 53 km and 2,740 meters for the 46 km course.
- The 30 km leisure course, with its 741 meters of positive difference in altitude, allows the greatest number of people, families and spa-goers to participate in this unique cycling event.
The event is also open to electrically assisted bicycles on the 30, 46 and 53 km routes.
