The elevation gain goes from 50 to 70m and the race lasts between 2 to 3 minutes. The start for the young racers is planned in the morning and in the afternoon for the seniors.

French Ski Mountaineering Championships - Sprint
The sprint race is a short and technical course, involving kick turns, steps, porterage. Both the uphill slope and the descent are timed.
120 athletes are expected on this race.
