The variety of species guarantees pleasant fishing throughout the season. Trout and char are present and can be fished on sight due to the clarity of the water.
Altitude: 1191 m; area: 6.8 ha, depth: 5 m. Parking and restaurant on site in summer. Fish population: brown trout, rainbow trout, perch, tench, rotengle.
Fishing permits can be purchased at tourist offices.

Fishing at the Lac des Plagnes
The Plagnes lake (1191 m, 6.8 ha) is a real green setting and is very popular with fishermen. Access by car in 10 minutes from the centre of the village of Abondance. The lake is densely populated with trout, perch and white fish.
