Global warming: What effects on mountain fauna?
The Alps are warming up twice as fast as in the plains: Rising temperatures, lack of snow cover in winter, altered cycle of seasons, summer drought are signs of climate change. All of this is already impacting mountain animals. Some may disappear in the near future.
