Former artistic director of the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels, Thierry Bosquet is a Belgian scenographer and painter. At 80, he is internationally known for his magnificently successful scenographies.
All his life, he magnified artifice.
Painter, draftsman, creator of sets and costumes for opera and theatre, lil sought to recreate the emotion that overwhelmed him when he discovered the beauty of Venice where his parents had taken him at the age of 16 years old.
