From the outset, Ateliers Art terre's beasties have been dedicated to the marriage of art and recycling. Indeed, all the work is centered on the creation of animal sculptures made from recycled materials: newspaper, cardboard, packaging, but also used cans, drums, caps, buttons, nails and so on. Built up beast by beast, book by book, this strong, original identity remains the main principle of Ateliers Art terre.
Combining Alain Burban's sculptures in recycled materials and Paskal Martin's photographs, the Portraits de bestioles exhibition takes a playful, artistic approach to recycling. It comprises eight sculptures - two multi-material sculptures and six sculptures made from different materials (fabric, glass, plastic, wood, metal, paper) - as well as photographs of these creations.
