A mountain folk festival that takes to the streets of Bourg-Saint-Maurice for a summer's day of authenticity and tradition.
The Fêtes de l'Edelweiss brings together different mountain folk groups to delight the ears, but also the eyes thanks to the colours of the traditional costumes. You'll be invited to discover local and more distant cultures and traditions through song, dance, entertainment and encounters.

Saturday 13 July
6pm - Salle La Scène: Performance by the folk group Les Frontières
Sunday 14th July
10.30am-12.30pm and 3pm-5pm: Exhibition on the theme of "Veillées d'autrefois" - Ground floor of the music school
11am: The Grand Parade - departs from the church forecourt
To mark the 80th anniversary of the Edelweiss Festival, members of the public are invited to take part in the parade. If you are interested, please contact the folklore group Les Frontières directly.
3pm-4.30pm: Street entertainment - Town centre
5pm: Gala show - Place de la Mairie
NB: Free shows and events may take place at La Scène in the event of rain.
