ALYSMA

Mixing influences from ancient music from the East and West to resolutely modern universes,
the rich compositions of Alyocha are completed and adorned by the melismas of Patrick RUDANT and
by the poetry (or tribality!) of Henri-Charles CAGET’s percussion.
The hypnotic sounds of the nyckelharpa (Swedish bowed fiddle with sympathetic strings) mingle
the sweetness of the Kisrt transverse flute (Mozart era), the poetry of the Indian bansuri flute, and the deep percussion of frame drums and other antique or oriental cowbells.
The Alysma trio thus offers “singular musical suites”, both energetic and intimate,
virtuoso and subtle, and invites you to a unique musical discovery.
