Ottawan :
French disco band, known in the early 1980s for their albums D.I.S.C.O. and Ottawan 2. Jean Patrick is an artist of Guadeloupean origin who migrates to France to try his luck. A singer in his native country, he decided to revive his passion by forming the group Black Underground with Annette, a friend.
Other members joined the band, but the couple remained the mainstays of the band throughout their career. The band attracted the attention of Daniel Vangarde, who was enthusiastic about the band's energy, which was strongly influenced by island music.
