The famous band from Marseille is coming to Chamonix!
It's not often that we come across bands like Massilia Sound System, who know how to speak to the intelligence as well as to the heart, how to summon the imaginary that unites and the real that unites, how to make the feet dance and invite the hands to make. For this reggae group is not primarily a matter of music. Towards the end of the 80's, it is about implanting in Marseille the brilliant invention of the Jamaican sound system : reggae instrus, big speakers and microphones to chat. Human beings always, above, below, beside, at the same time as the music.
Their new album confirms it: classic rub a dub, drum and bass accelerations, oriental effluences, autotune of contemporary urban music.
