Concert de la Camerata du Mont-Blanc

Camerata du Mont-Blanc's second concert of the season.

Cultural Concert de la Camerata du Mont-Blanc Argentière

About

On Sunday 18 August 2024 from 19:00:00 in 20:30:00
Argentière (74400)

Mont-Blanc and Vivaldi's Four Seasons no longer need to be introduced. In the popular imagination, it's the most famous mountain in Europe, reputedly not too difficult if not for the altitude, and the music you've heard from a very early age, even to keep you waiting on the phone.

And yet: the former is in fact a beautiful stop-start race, and the latter such a performance for the soloists of these four concerti brought together under the banner of the seasons!

After their musical journey through Europe, the Camerata du Mont-Blanc will be setting down their desks on the shores of the Venetian lagoon in a program that, in addition to Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons, will feature a selection of equally popular music: Dvorak's Slavonic Dance op72 no. 2, Brahms' Hungarian Dances no. 1 and no. 5, and Elgar's Salut d'amour op 12.

This concert is free entry - basket at the door - Reservations are strongly recommended, however, by contacting the association (by 12 noon on the day of the concert) by e-mail or sms to the details below, indicating for each participant: Last name, first name, e-mail address and cell phone number.
