Raouf's Chorba has been simmering for a few years! Today, the recipe is perfected and delights the senses at each performance. The sound is rich and original. Violins, clarinet, accordion, guitar, double bass and voice intertwine, respond, support and embrace each other to bring to life a traditional and Roma repertoire from Eastern Europe.
An intoxicating, colourful and terribly catchy concert. Their arrangements are spiced up with special chorba from pieces conveying legends of grandmothers, stories of love, magic, villages... Full of energy and twirling, sometimes heartbreaking, from Russia to Hungary via Turkey and Romania, Raouf's Chorba transports us in rhythm to the pleasures of the party and the dance.
